Rob Howes qualified for BJA Instructors award (well done Rob)
Renkeido was awarded £10.000 to support news development and Sports Unlimited
At the Eastern Area age banded on Sunday 13th December 3 members of our club entered and attained Gold and Silver in Group 2
- Tia Bett: Silver
- Emma Larter: Gold
- Oliver Swanepoel: Gold
The area teams competition between Cambridge , Suffolk and Norfolk were also played off on the same day. Norfolk won the day with Oliver and Tia in the Norfolk team
Two of our club members were selected for the Eastern Area and went through to the Nationals at Sheffield ICE Arena.
- Tia Betts went through in third place with a fine Bronze in her trial weight group
- Oliver Swanepoel went through in first place after an excellent performance in his trial weight group.
Both performed well at the nationals and both produced personal best (Well done)

Club Coach attains 1st Dan
Great news Stan Swanepeol has attained his 1st Dan grade
Both Coaches attain JUDO National UKCC Level 2 coaching awards
After attending coaching courses Stan and Ted have gained their National Coaching UKCC level 2 on top of their BJA Level 2 coaching award
Michelle Brunning joins Clubs Coaching staff
Michelle has come back to Judo after a few years rest and has joined Renkeido as a coach and as a senior at our club. Michelle has great judo technique and has trained with Howard Oats at Kumo Judo Club
The Club attended Taverham Fayre again this year all enjoyed the event and all who attended gave a great display. Thanks to all who gave support at the Fayre Stall
